difference between SER and RER

Differences are


SER
---It stands for smooth endoplasmic reticulum.
--- It do not have ribosomes on its surface.


RER

---It stands for Rough endoplasmic reticulum.
---It has ribosomes present on its surface which give it a smooth appearence.


SIMILARITY
--Both perform the same function of storage and synthesis of proteins.
