Difference between sodium chloride and sodium sulfate

sodium chloride is a common salt.
It is made by raction of NaOH with HCl .
where as sodium sulphate is a salt.and is made by reaction of NaOH with H2SO4.

Explanation:

When barium chloride is added to the sodium sulphate solution ,a precipitate is formed which is insoluble in all mineral acids. While sodium chloride does not react with barium chloride.
