An entrepreneur is a committed, motivated, persistent, create business person. Whilst these traits are also in a startup founder, an entrepreneur is someone who still keeps going even if the startup or business venture fails.A startup founder may do one and that's it. Then again, they may continue to do more. I think I'm doing circles here!
Entrepreneur can mean lots of things, although startups are about fast paced growth. Which can be a different approach to other 'entrepreneurial' ventures. Essentially I still think they are very similar, if not the same.

Differences in Goals With an entrepreneurship, it is vital to create a product and be paid for it. Startup founders often do not worry about the selling process at first as they want to generate larger profits in the future. They go out and approach larger investors and focus on getting their business known.
