Difference between the molluscs and tortoise shells are:-
1)Tortoise have scally skin and protective shells
2) Tortoise shells tend to be rounded and dome.

1) mollusc shells are joined by ligaments,which hepls to protect the soft part of their body.
2) their shells help the mollusc to recover from injuries to or abnormal condition.

shells of tutle(tortoise) different from that of molluscs because turtle's shell is made from carapace and plastron whereas molluscs' shells are made of calcium .
