differences b/w synapses and synaptic cleft ​

synapses means the junction of two neurons

while the synaptic cleft means tiny microscopic gaps between those two neurons...

Synaptic cleft is the gap between two neurons.

Synapse is the place where transfer of impulse takes place across two adjacent neurons.

Synapse consists of 3 parts the pre synaptic part, the synaptic cleft and the post synaptic part.
