Differences between lok sabha and rajya sabha:
Lok Sabha:
1. Lok sabha is known as lower house of parliament.
2. Lok sabha is elected for a period of 5 years.
3. Lok sabha is a temporary body.
Rajya Sabha.
1. Rajya sabha is known as upper house of parliament.
2. Rajya sabha is elected for a period of 6 years.
3. Rajya sabha is a permanent body.

difference between Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Members of Lok Sabha are directly elected by the eligible voters. Members of Rajya Sabha are elected by the elected members of State Legislative Assemblies in accordance with the system of proportional representation by means of single transferable vote.
