monoculture means that an area of land only grows a single crop.. And , multiple cropping is the practice of growing two or more crops in the same piece of land in different growing season..one example of Monoculture is corn field and One example of multi-cropping is tomatoes + onions + marigold; the marigolds repel some tomato pests.
