Hello there !
When all the factors responsible for combustion is under control and works properly/normally, it is normal combustion.
In normal combustion, fuel ignites at normal pressure, temperature and you can actually control the combustion by increasing or decreasing quantity of fuel/air mixture.
When these factors are not under control, the combustion will be termed as abnormal combustion. These terms are used mostly in reference of aeroplane and jets.
