If the sum of one-fifth of a number and one sixth of its next consecutive even number is 4 find the number?

1/5 x + 1/6 (x+2) = 4
(6x + 5x + 10)/30 = 4
11x + 10 = 4 * 30
11x = 120  - 10
x = 110/11 = 10

the numbers are 10 and 12

1/5x + 1/6(2+x) = 4
x/5+x/6+2/6
6x + 5x + 10 / 30 =4
11x+10 =120
11x=110
x=10
