different between the lok sabha and rajya sabha

lokshabha.......it has a maximum of 550members elected directly by the people. of these 550people 530are from different states. and 20are from union territoryies. Rajya sabha.......... it has a maximum of 250members, twelve members out of these nominated members are eminent in the field of music, art, literature, etc....

Members of Rajya Sabha are elected by the elected members of State Legislative Assemblies in accordance with the system of proportional representation by means of single transferable vote. The normal life of every Lok Sabha is 5 years only whileRajya Sabha is a permanent body
