"Democracy is good or bad for India"
As everyone is having different views . So we can't say about others but in my point of view democracy is good for India. Because democracy is a form of government by the people of the people to the people of a Country.
And there are different merits of democracy.
Like in democracy people choose their representatives.
A democracy is a better government because it is a more accountable form of government.
It helps us improving the quality of decision making.
It helps in enhancing the dignity of citizens.
Democracy gives us ideas to deal with differences and conflicts .
In a democratic government you we can improve our mistakes.
That's why democracy is better form of government.

democracy - form of government where rulers are elected by the people
yes democracy is both good and bad for India
why democracy is good ?

• it gives every man the right to be his own oppressor
• its a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve
• its accountable form of government as the leaders have to answer what types of works they have done when they were in power
• people of any religion can be a citizen of india
• there is an equality among all people , no discrimination on the basis of caste gender , religion etc
• the quality of decision here contains opinions of different people
• everyone has equal freedom and oppourtunities
• people of above 18 age are allowed to be the part of election , there is no discrimnation in the voting rights
why democracy is not good ?

• just because of so many rights, people here donot follow the rules, they take the advantage of rights given to them
• instability ( leaders keep changing)
• people of different religion fight with each other , which causes death of many peoples and creates an environment of fear and shows that unity doesnot exist between us
• corruption
• ordinary people are not able to decide which leaders are good for them
• it is all about political competition and powerplay
so, finally i reach to a conclusion that democracy has both positive and negative side
