A Hamlet and a village are similar types of human settlements.


The major difference between the two is the strength or population which is smaller in Hamlet as compared to a village.


A hamlet can be called as a small village.


As it is small and has lesser population, it also has lesser buildings.

Hamlet is a small village but as village is a place where less people as a group and the live together in a particular area
