the People's which can vote are known as active citizen and the people which cannot vote are known as passive citizen examples of active citizen are men which are about 25 years of age who paid taxes equal to at least 3 days of labour which were given the status of active citizens and the remaining men and all womens were classified as passive citizens can give the three days labour and womens

passive citizen they had no property or voting rights they where protected by the law but had no say in making government bodies.                                          Active citizen they are literate adults who had been residents in france for certain period of time and they paid atleast certain amount of taxation
