◆ Birth rate Vs Death rate -

1. Birth rate is live births per 1000 mid year population. Death rate is deaths per 1000 mid year population.
2. Birth rate is also known as natality. Death rate is also known as fatality.
3. Improvement in medical care has increased birth rate. Improvement in medical care has reduced death rate.
4. Birth rate is almost always higher than death rate. Difference between birth rate and death rate is called growth rate.
