conductors are substances that conduct electricity and heat but insulators donot conduct heat and electricity.

examples of conductors:steel,iron,Mercury

examples of insulators:dry wood,plasticand Alchol.

Conductor means conduct current or pass current.But insulator contradict or oppose this fact.
Ex. of conductors-Copper. Aluminium.HCl
Insulator-book.air.pure water.
