differentiate between dew and frost

Dew and frost are actually the resultant of the same phenomenon but frost occurs generally when the temperature of air is below the freezing point and dew occurs when the air temperature is above freezing point.

Frost_1. It occurs because of freezing of the water droplets present in contact with the surface of the cold objects


Dew_2. When the temperature of the layers of the air near the earth surface reduces Dew is formed

Frost_2. When the temperature of the air reaches less than zero degree celsius formation of Frost begins


Dew_3. Dew is basically water droplets in liquid form

Frost_3. Frost is basically water droplets in frozen form
