Exogenic in general terms means “Originating on or above the surface of the earth; exogenetic.”

And Endogenic means “Originating within the earth; endogenous or endogenetic.”

Therefore, Exogenic processes are processes that happen above the earth's surface. They are genetically related to the atmosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere, and therefore to processes of weathering, erosion, transportation, deposition, denudation etc.

Similarly, Endogenic Processes are processes that occur beneath the earth's surface. They include Volcanism, Metamorphism, and Earthquakes
