A doab is a region of floodland like mass which exists in between two rivers or tributaries.

A pass is a kind of crack in the surface of a land which allows people to move in mountain ranges.

It is in Passes that human beings often build settlements and use it for teir personal and commercial purposes. There are 5 Doabs which are located in the Central-Western region of India, in Punjab.
