Self pollination: When pollen grains of a flower are transferred to the stigma of the same flower or of another flower borne by same plant. e.g. potato , rice etc
Cross pollination :When the pollen grains are transferred fron anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower of same type born on another plant. e. g. wheat, oat etc

Pollination is the process of transfer of pollen from Angiosperm to Gymnosperm i.e. Stigma to enable Fertilization is called Pollination.
Self Pollination:
The type of Pollination in which anther of a flower is transferred to the stigma of same flower or of the flower of same plant is called Self-Pollination. It is transferred directly to the Stigma.
Generally occurs in Apples, Grapes etc.
Cross Pollination:
