the major and most common difference between traditional and modern farming methods are:

1) traditional methods

i) the seeds are sown unevenly making it difficult for the seed to grow because if the seed is sown deep then it wont get oxygen and if left on the surface then it would be eaten by the birds

ii) the ploughing practice that was done in ancient time used a lot of human energy and time.

iii) the seeds that the farmers used were of low quality making the crop go bad quickly.

2)modern methods

i)the seeds are sowed by machines which dig the perfect depth for the seed so that the it cant be eaten or die because of lack of oxygen

ii) the modern ploughing is done by tractors so it saves time and human energy .

iii) the seeds that we use now are HYV seed which hybrid for better production
