DISTRIBUTARY

1.when a small river joins the large or main river it is called tributary.

2.These are formed in mountains forms glaciers,lakes etc.

3.This occurs in the young age of the river.

TRIBUTARY

1.when a large river breaks into small rivers it is called tributary.
