A Pediatrician is a doctor who is qualified to treat mental and physical illnesses and diseases or children.

A Veterinarian is a doctor, qualified to treat animals.

According to me two possible reasons why pediatricians and veterinarians have more challenging jobs maybe because of the following:

a) Children and animals don't express their discomforts as well as adult humans. For example sometimes small children who talk also may not have words to describe their discomfort.

b) Some ailments maybe imaginary and are rooted in their fears and worries. Example: If a child does not like school, he may complain of stomach pain everyday, which is just an imaginary pain. Similarly if somebody in the family is unwell, their pet dog senses the illness of the master and may fall ill. In both cases, the respective doctors may find it difficult to diagnose.

Hope my answer fulfills your requirement.

The pediatrician and veterinarians have the tougher job to diagnose their patient’s illness as their patients cannot express their problems.

The infants are unable to express their illness and often cry.

On the other hand, animals cannot talk.

As a result they are also unable to express themselves.

The respective physicians have to keep patience while treating them.

They have to identify the problems by examining them.
