Answers
Captain Welsh visited Assam in the year of 1792 A.D. By the year 1794 captain Welsh had started to negotiate with Moamariyas in the upper Assam areas. and once again those fell, and became imminent an armed counter. and once again the English battled and in front of the Bengal army militia was no match.
The British Battle Strategy of Captain Welsh included British troops that formed two rows.
The front row would kneel in this formation.
Guns would fire all at the same time. This tactic was known as volley fire.
A typical type of line formation will have troops that would fire their muskets in succession.
When the last man on a side had fired his weapon, the first man on the other side was ready for the next shot.
This way, a constant fire can be maintained and this strategy was employed by him.
