hey here's your answer

Osmosis is the movement of water or other solvent through a plasma membrane from a region of low concentration leavel to a region of high concentration. Osmosis does not require energy to occur.. What causes osmotic pressure is different concentrations of solutes on the two sides of the membrane.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU :-)

Answer:

here is ur answer

movement of a solvent (such as water) through a semipermeable membrane (as of a living cell) into a solution of higher solute concentration that tends to equalize the concentrations of solute on the two sides of the membrane.
