(i) He built the Arya Samaj to rebuild the Indian nation.

(iv) He said that the British did not do anything for the welfare of India but their personal benefit.

He activated the emotions of the Indians to resist British imperialism and start the Nationalist Movement.

He wanted everyone to come out of European influence and stand for national unity.

He declared that to achieve independence, the Indians need to break themselves free from the economic and political slavery of the British.
