The difference between contingent and the quasi-contract is;

The contingent contract often occurs when the parties that are involved in a negotiation fails to reach an agreement. The conditions and events that may occur make terms of these contact not to be final.

The quasi-contract, on the other hand, maybe when there is no agreement made by the parties and it exists as a result of court order.
