Narmada Basin :

The Narmada river is a peninsular river.

It is one of the two west flowing rivers of the Peninsular Plateau.

It drains in the Arabian Sea .

It rises from the Amarkantak Hills in Madhya Pradesh.

It creates many picturesques on it's way to Arabian Sea.

It covers the parts of Gujrat , Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

The tributaries of the river Narmada are very short .

Most of its tributaries join it at right angles.
