Panchayati Raj acts for the utility of persons living within a village.

It works hard to help and support the people so that they can get access to primary education facilities, proper health and social care services, or develop farming and agricultural means.

They even support men and women towards local activities were men as well as women can participate equally, irrespective of any gender bias.

They further look after sanitation facilities and women empowerment activities.

Their support is even extended towards child case.

The Constitution has further laid down certain rules in the year 1992, highlighting the importance of Panchayati Raj.
