1. globalisation is not a new phenomenon for agriculture. In the nineteenth century when the European traders came to India exported Indian spices. Still, today it has most significant export from India.
2. farmers in India were exposed due to globalisation.
3. despite of being a large exporter of rice, jute, spices, cotton, etc, our agricultural products were not able to compete with other developed countries products.
