3 ltres=3000
    1x+2x+3x=3000
or,6x=3000
or,x=3000/6=500

so,1x=500
     2x=2*500=1000
     3x=3*500=1500

Answer:

 \red {3\: litres \: divided \:in \:the \:ratio \: 1:2:3}

\green { is \: \frac{1}{2}\:litre,\:1\:litre\:and \:1\frac{1}{2}\:litre}

Step-by-step explanation:

 Given \: 3\: litres \: divided \:in \:the \:ratio \: 1:2:3

 Let \: a:b:c = 1:2:3

 Let \: a = x, \\b= 2x, \\c = 3x

 a+b+c = 3\: litres

 \implies x + 2x + 3x = 3

 \implies 6x = 3

\implies x = \frac{3}{6} = \frac{1}{2}

Therefore.,

 x = \frac{1}{2}

 Second \:part = 2x = 2\times \frac{1}{2}=1\:litre

 Third \:part = 3x = 3 \times \frac{1}{2}= 1\frac{1}{2}\:litre
