Divide 34 into two parts in such a way that (4/7)th of one part is equal to (2/3)th of the other

Let one of the part be x
so other part will be 34 -x

Given
(4/7)th of one part is equal to (2/3)th of the other
4/7 * x = 2/3 * (34-x)
12x = 14(34-x)
12x = 476 - 14x
26x = 476
x = 476 / 26
x = 238/13

34 - x
= 34 - 238/13
= (442 - 238)/13
= 204 / 13

238/13 + 204/13 = 442/13 = 34

4/7 * 238/13 =  136/13
2/3 * 204/13 =  136/13

hence the two parts are 238/13 and 204/13
