Solution:-
Let the one part be 'x'
Then the other part will be 60 - x
So, according to the question.
3(60 - x) - 100 = 200 - 9(x)
180 - 3x - 100 = 200 - 9x
- 3x =9x = 200 + 100 - 180
6x = 120
x = 120/6 
x = 20 
Then the other part is 60 - 20 = 40
