Answer:

let milk in 1 vessels =3x

________________2nd=2x

2x+3x =60

5x=60

x=12

therefore, vessel1 = 3x

vessel 2= 2x

3x+2x = 60

5x = 60

x= 12

therefore vessel1= 3x= 36 litres

vessel2 = 2x = 24 litres

Hence vessel 1 contains 36 litres of milk while vessel 2 contains 24 litres of milk.
