They perform various types of nutritions.

Like plants perform Autotrophic nutrition while animals perform Heterotrophic nutrition.

Autotrophic nutrition : In this mode of nutrition living beings perpare their own food with organic substances.

Heterotrophic Nutrition : In this mode of nutrition organisms are dependent on others for their food.

i. Autotrophic nutrition- living beings those prepare there own food by using in organic substances such as CO2 ,H2O and sunlight are known as Autotrophs.

ex-plants.

ii. Heterotrophic nutrition- living beings doors depend on autotrophs for their food are known as heterotrophs.
