(i) -12/5x = -12/35
By cross multiplication we get,
5x = 35×-12/-12
5x = 35
x = 35/5
x = 7
(ii) -9/11x = 54/55
By cross multiplication we get,
11x = 55×-9/54
x = 55×-9/55×11
x = -5/6
