At mass of quick lime (cao) = 40+16= 56g
At mass of limestone (caco3)= 40+12+16×3=100 g
Quick lime is obtained from lime stone
So 56g of quick lime contains 100g of limestone

Hope it will help you, if their is any doubt u can refer to me

Pure limestone is caco3 pure quicklime is Cao.The atomic masses of CA,C and O is 40,12and 16.So 1 mole limestone weighs 100 grams,1 mole quicklime weighs 56 grams.A "pure" conversion of 400 grams of limestone would therefore yield 224 grams of quicklime
