Do we still have to thank someone, who told someone else who was copying me to stop copying me though it was not bothering me ?​

See it's bad to copy someone and the one who did so (stopped the person from copying) basically did right.

Bcz letting others copying my work one day overhwelmed me. That student complained that I copied her work and issued complaint against me as it was assessment that we were supposed to do ourselves . But finally she was caught, I'm thankful to God that He saved me that day but I too was scolded to let her copy.(๑•﹏•)

So you should refrain from letting others copying but it's your wish again.
