The question is answered below-

1. In simple words, we can explain corporate social responsibility as the activities and actions implemented by the corporate houses to protect the well-being of the environment. It is considered their obligation towards society. The companies dedicate some portions of their profit to sponsoring this activity.

2. Though the main aim of a company has to be profit motive and profit maximization to sustain in the long run and curb competition but also, one of their major responsibility lies in maintaining CSR.

3. According to my opinion, companies are trying their best to play an active role in performing CSR activities. Corporate social responsibility works mutually which in return builds a strong and positive image of the company. Several companies are operating in the market that allocates their profit for women empowerment, planting trees, sponsoring education for females, and others.
