No I don't think that only hardwork and intelligence can make a man successful. No never. To be successful do discipline, punctuality, talent, honesty, obedience are most. Managing the time is also required. We all know time is very precious. So we have to manage this time and we should run with the rhythm of time. Without being disciplined no work is possible. It is the most. A successful person have to throw his anger. He should be obedient. He should be punctual. Basically the 4Ds are the most :
