No the biomagnification can also be in other food chain. For example it take place between the animals. The farmers uses the fertilisers and pesticides which have the non toxico chemical called dichloro diphenyle trichloroethane, this chemical is taken byy producers which are generally green plants and from the producers it is transferred to the consumers. The percent of chemical increases as the level increase and this chemical is found more in human being because humans are at the top of the food chain.
