When we drop an object why the particular object does it falls down instead of going up?

This is happens mainly due to the gravitational force of the earth.

The gravitational force of the earth is acting acts as a magnet to pull us back to the ground.

The force also acts on the dust particles.

Since air is always in a motion, it does not allows the dust particles to settle down.
