Yes spirits do exists. Because it is scientifically proven that a human body contains a soul. This soul stays in our body till the time we are alive. We we die, it no longer stays in our body. It we go out of our body and this soul is own as a spirit as it is no longer alive.

It depends upon the belief of the people. Millions believe that dead people pass on to the spirit world, where they are able to observe and influence the lives of people on earth.
