Dose myopia or hyper metropia imply necessarily that the eye has partially lost its ability of accommodation ? If not what might cause these defects of vision?

Myopia is due to the elongation of the length eyeball and hypermetropia is due to the length of the eyeball which get shortened . But presbiopia is a defect which arises when the ball has normal length , but the eye lenses loses partially its power of accommodation
