During the boyhood, the author was completely dependent on his grandmother. She was a part of his life. When they live in village, grandmother wake him up, bathe him ,prepare breakfast for him and accompany him to his school. While author study in school, grandmother read scriptures in temple. The turning point in their friendship came when they went to city. She could no longer accompany him to school as went there by bus. Grandmother could not help him in his studies. She did not believe in the things that were taught at the school. The life of author and grandmother was totally changed after shifting in city.
