Draw a circle with radius 3.4 cm. Draw a chord MN of length 5.7 cm in it. construct tangents at point M and N to the circle.

In this question , a circle is drawn with radius 3.4 cm.

Here, we have taken the circle of radius 3.4 cm , and according to the question we have drawn a cord MN of length 5.7 cm in it,

We have marked the point M and N  as the chord touches the circle.

The chord of the circle is drawn internaly  and it touches the circle at two points. In this circle, the length of the chord is 5.7 cm and touches at two points M and N respectively.

At the point M and N , we have made a tangent to the circle as mentioned in the question.

The tangent are such that they touches the circle externally and only at one point.

So, we have made two tangent to the circle which touches the circle at one point namely M and N.
