Lat us considerd two rays coming from the object placed before a covex lense between F and 2F.The ray parallel to the principal axis after refraction through the lens passes through the focus (F) on the other side of the lense.The ray passing the optical center passes through the undeviated. The two refracted rays intersect each other at a point beyond 2F on the other side of the lens.
