Structure of mature ovule :

1. Ovule is a tiny structure that is found in the ovary of plants.

2. It is connected to the placenta by a stalk which is called funicle.

3. Each ovule consists of 1 or 2 coverings that are protective in nature which are called the integuments.

4. The tip part or region of ovule is termed as micropyle and the basal region is known as the chalaza.
