Answer:. First, after drawing AB=6.8cm, draw perpendicular bisector of AB intersecting AB at D and then take a point 'p' on the line of perpendicular bisector with compasses and extend it above upto a point C. Then draw perpendicular bisector of CD horizontally and extend it further ond either sides. Thus, this line drawn becomes line 'p' parallel to AB.
