Draw a right triangle ABC in which AB = 6 cm,
BC = 8 cm and B = 90°. Draw BD
perpendicular from B on AC and draw a circle
passing through the points B, C and D.

9 Steps for Construction

Step-by-step explanation:

Steps of construction:

1. BC = 8 cm is drawn initially.

2. Make a right angle at the point B i.e., \angle CBX = 90°

3. Arc of radius 6 cm is drawn (With B as Center) intersecting BX at A.

4. Join AC  so, ABC is required right angle triangle.

5. Draw a arc taking center B which intersect AC at the point K and L respectively taking K and L center draw two arcs of same radius which intersect at the point M.

6. Join BM so, \angle BDC = 90°

7. Now a perpendicular bisector of BC is drawn.

8. Draw a circle taking radius equal to OB and center O which passes through B, D and C.

9. Draw a arc taking center A and radius equal to AB intersect the circle at point P so, AP is the tangents
