Nitrogen cycle is a biogeochemical cycle.

By this cycle nitrogen is converted into several chemical compounds.

Important processes in the nitrogen cycle include fixation, ammonification, nitrification, and denitrification.

At first nitrogen comes to earth by rain.

Here it gets converted into to ammonia by nitrogen fixing bacterias.

eg. Rhizobium

After this nitrogen fixing bacteria exchange NO2 .

After this the process of assimilation and denitrification occurs.

After denitrification free nitrogen is released into the environment.

this whole process known as nitrogen cycle.
